They learn about friendship and maturity as Grampa's "shining moment" becomes clear. Many turn of the century songs -- "By The Light of The Silvery Moon," "The Good Old Summer Time" enhance the magic. This heartwarming play with its bittersweet ending won the Post-Corbett Award for excellence in play-writing, and the Ohio Arts Council 1986 Playwriting Fellowship.
